Which Bible Version Should We Use?

On this 65 minute wide-screen DVD with 276 powerful onscreen graphics, Dr. S.M. Davis deals kindly, plainly and simply with one of the most important foundational issues of our day: Which Bible version should we use?

He explains:

I use only the King James Version of the Bible BECAUSE:

  • I have verses that say God would preserve His Word.
  • I have faith that God preserved His Word, just like I have faith that God gave His Word.
  • Of the text from which the KJV was translated.
  • Of the Critical Text from which virtually all other versions of the Bible have come.
  • Of the method of translation the King James translators used.
  • I need a Bible that even a child can read and understand.
  • I need a pure, living, inspired Bible from which I can study and preach.

PLEASE CONSIDER GETTING THIS IN VIDEO FORM BECAUSE OF THE POWERFUL IMPACT OF THE GRAPHICS.

DVD/ why I use only the KJV Bible

I’m so happy to know Pastor Davis is committed to the KJV only and his reasons why. My husband and I have always used the KJV Bible, but recently, our church is starting to become less accepting of the KJV. This is sad for us to see taking place. Our new pastor preaches from the King James Bible, but uses the NIV bible to study from. He doesn’t understand why we stick to the KJV only, even though we have shared several reasons. I am praying that he will be open to listening to the DVD for himself on this issue… hopefully being educated on this by Pastor Davis will help him understand more.
