Consider the End

One of the most difficult counseling situations is when divorce has created a "joint custody" arrangement between a Christian and a non-Christian parent. In many such cases, the non-Christian parent may actually be antagonistic to the teachings of the Bible. So the Christian parent will have the child and want to teach him or her about God and God's ways, but when the child goes to the other parent, he or she may mock the Christian parent's beliefs and standards and encourage the child to do anything he or she wants to do.
